The Author of this website is a DLSU undergrad student taking up BS-ICTM and he hopes to be an internet mogul someday.

I just remembered that the 2009 World Top University Ranking is now out. So I checked it out and boom we suck(not the Philippines but DLSU)!! Here’s the rank of our local universities:

I really don’t know who created this idea but you see as a student there’s this thing they require you to do, I forgot what it is called I think it’s called “go to class” or something like that, I really don’t know. Part of that go to class thing is reading tons of words on paper. It sucks I tell you, reading 267 pages on Support Technology, 27 pages on History, 12 pages on Literature not to mention additional reading for your project all due by tomorrow!! Sucks Big time not to mention boring. So if you want to get out of boring-land and still get a decent grade here’s what I do to blaze my way through pages.
Hold your horses young lads and lasses! This ain’t your exam cheat sheets or any other cheat sheets regarding your academic stuff. Though I can write a post about the best practices of cheating in exams. These are cheat sheets for the most common sites and browsers we students use.
As a student, reporting is almost the sibling of assignments. I don’t know why do professors love to make their students do the teaching. We pay the school for us to teach each other? fuck it. It’s called transformative learning in DLSU or whatever. But for some of us it sucks.
I’m making this post not to make your grades higher but to save your fellow students from your boring slides. This is the compilation of all the things I learned from presenting reports and such in front of the crowd:
1. You are the presentation
Window’s PowerPoint or Mac’s Keynote it doesn’t matter what presentation tool you use. What matter is you. You are the presentation. Even if you have superior presentation tool but you failed on delivering the speech or worst “You just read what is written in your slide” might as well leave the stage and tell everyone to read what you wrote. You’re just making your boring presentation longer and even boring. So keep it mind to be as presentable as possible and don’t be boring.
A friend of mine showed me that Google Chrome now has themes. This has been implemented on Firefox before on their Personas. Some are cool and creative while some just shows Mariah’s Face. Go check it out!

I wrote an article on the benefits of breakfast so that everyone of you can find time to make and eat breakfast but I know it’s hard to break a long tradition of not eating breakfast in exchange of an extra 15 minutes sleep. I admit, it’s hard to resist the bed (Not that perv) just like what the Jollibee commercial says “Ang sarap mag tagal sa kama…”. So in order to help my fellow students to the road of eating breakfast everyday I’d gather tips on dragging our bodies out of the bed. You can google some more but these are the ones that I find useful [ READ MORE ]

Well I was watching some news over the internet a while ago, when I glimpsed on a rather….I don’t know what to say but it’s a video about an upcoming movie called The Social Network. It’s about the creation of the world’s best time-wasting-technology! The Facebook. (add me!) JT will be starring this film together with Jesse Eisenberg whoever that is. I’m not kiddin here, it’s THE FACEBOOK MOVIE!! Woooooo!!!! (insert sarcasm here) Hope this turns out bad good.
We all know that breakfast is the healthiest meal of the day and yet some, if not most, of us still do skip it. We skip breakfast for a couple of reasons like, we use the time we spend in preparing and eating breakfast in getting an extra 5-15 min of sleep, we think that when we don’t eat breakfast we save on calories, or we’re just too lazy to eat. I’m guilty of these sometimes, only sometimes. If I didn’t had an all night HoN session or a movie marathon the night before, I always make it to a point to eat breakfast not just breakfast but healthy breakfast, a small amount of carbs, enough protiens and a piece of fruit.
I’ve been the type of guy who seldom forgets appointments, meetings, exams, and submissions. Ok make it sometimes. Often? Always. And through this long break we have I’ve been pondering why do I always tend to forget something? I came into a conclusion that this is because I don’t write them. Most of the time I rely on mere human memory to remember things and dates which I always tend to forget due to my restless nature. [ READ MORE ]
I found this cute advertisement of Windows 7. I like Win7 Ads compare to Vista and Mac. They are simple but not as simple as the Wow Vista Ads which I found stupid and not that too aggressive like the Mac commercial. It’s just right.
